Follow these step-by-step instructions to guide you in earning the PMP® Certification
1 – Ensure You Are Qualified

You will be required to document your qualifications in detail on the PMP® application. If you have specific questions about your eligibility, contact PMI directly.
3 – Join PMI

Choose from online or in-person classes offered around the globe that all come complete with reading materials, one-year access to online quizzes and flashcards, practice exam, and more! Most courses will allow you to meet PMI’s 35 hours of project management education requirement for the PMP® application. (Please confirm hours with chosen course provider.)
5 – Complete your application

The CertWise® Learning System for PMP® Exam Preparation includes an Application Worksheet to help you organize and prepare your information before you begin the application process.
6 – Submit your application and payment
PMI will review your online application in 5 business days. You may be selected for an audit at this time. If you are selected, you will have 90 days to submit all required documents for the audit. The cost of PMP® application is US$405 for members and US$555 for non-members
8 – Maintain Your PMP®
You are required to renew your PMP® credential every 3 years. To do so, you must track and earn 60 PDUs and submit your renewal application and fee.
